YOU SAY
Verse: I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low? Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know
Chorus: You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
And when I don’t belong, oh You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh I believe. What You say of me. I believe
Verse: The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, o-ooh (chorus)
Verse: Taking all I have and now I’m laying it at Your feet
You have every failure God, and You’ll have every victory, o-ooh (Chorus)
Oh I believe. Yes I believe. What You say of me. Oh I believe
SHOUT TO THE LORD
My Jesus, my Saviour, Lord there is none like You,
All of my days I want to praise, the wonders of Your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter, tower of refuge and strength,
Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You.
CHORUS: Shout to the Lord, All the earth let us sing
Power and majesty, Praise to the King.
Mountains bow down And the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands.
Forever I’ll love You, Forever I’ll stand.
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.
Today’s Scripture
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to God,
and God will make your paths straight. PROVERBS 3:5-6
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you
not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers
in the desert. ISAIAH 43:19
Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no
more, and then after a little while you will see me.” At this,
some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he
mean by saying, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and
then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am
going to the Father’?” They kept asking, “What does he mean
by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand what he is saying.”
Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said
to them, “Are you asking one another what I meant when I
said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after
a little while you will see me’?
Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the
world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.
A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time
has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish
because of her joy that a child is born into the world.
So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you
again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
JOHN 16:16-22
