TODAY’S SERMON:
“IN OUR DARKEST HOUR GOD IS THERE”

CORNERSTONE
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus name
Christ Alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord, Lord of all
When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
Christ Alone, Cornerstone, Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love, Through the storm
He is Lord, Lord of all, He is Lord, Lord of all
Christ Alone, Cornerstone, Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love, Through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of all

ABOVE ALL
Above all power, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There’s no way to measure what you’re worth
Crucified, Laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall, And thought of me,
Above all

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME
You were the Word at the beginning. One With God the Lord Most High
Your hidden glory in creation, Now revealed in You our Christ
What a beautiful Name it is. What a beautiful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a beautiful Name it is, Nothing compares to this
What a beautiful Name it is, The Name of Jesus
Tammy & Randy: You didn’t want heaven without us
So Jesus, You brought heaven down
Tammy Randy Ryan:
My shame was great, Your love was greater
What could separate us now
What a wonderful Name it is. What a wonderful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King. What a wonderful Name it is
Nothing compares to this, What a wonderful Name it is,
The Name of Jesus
What a wonderful Name it is, The Name of Jesus (pause about 31 beats)
Tammy: How sweet is your name, Lord, how good You are
Love to sing of your name Lord, love to sing of who you are?
All unison: Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast, of sin and grave.
The heavens are roaring, the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again
You have no rival, You have no equal, Now and forever, God You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory,
Yours is the Name, above all names
What a powerful Name it is. What a powerful Name it is.
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a powerful Name it is, Nothing can stand against
What a powerful Name it is, The Name of Jesus
You have no rival, You have no equal, Now and forever, God You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory,
Yours is the Name, above all names
What a powerful Name it is, What a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a powerful Name it is, Nothing can stand against
What a powerful Name it is, The Name of Jesus
What a powerful Name it is, The Name of Jesus
What a powerful Name it is, The Name of Jesus

Today’s Scripture
Listen to my prayer, O God,
do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me.
My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
at the voice of the enemy, at the stares of the wicked;
for they bring down suffering upon me
and revile me in their anger.
My heart is in anguish within me;
the terrors of death assail me.
Fear and trembling have beset me;
horror has overwhelmed me.
I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest” PSALMS 55:1-6
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; For I shall yet praise him,
The help of my countenance and my God. PSALMS 42:11
“It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it.
We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over
for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have
happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to
get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally- not a bad
idea since he’s the God who raises the dead! times as we
need rescuing.” 1 CORINTHIANS 1:8-9
“Instead of worrying, pray! Let petitions and praises shape
your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything
coming together for good, will come and settle you down.
It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at
the center of your life.” PHILIPPIANS 4:6
