Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. Tit is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place

In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place.

FREE FOR ALL
Rivers rich in mercy beckon, Everyone who thirsts is welcome
All who hunger freely come, Bread of life for everyone
Chorus
Free for all, Free for all, Over every limitation, Free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Free for all (pause)
We’re proclaiming freedom to the nations,
Stand and see your full salvation
Rivers in the desert, clouds are forming
Celebrate this free out-pouring (chorus then continue below)
Free for all, Free for all, Over every limitation, Free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Holy Spirit rise within us, Bring your freedom, free for all
Holy Spirit rise within us, Bring your freedom, free for all
Free for all…. Who the Son set free, is free indeed
Who the Son set free, is free indeed
Who the Son set free, is free indeed
Who the Son set free, is free indeed

ABOVE ALL
Above all power, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There’s no way to measure what you’re worth
Crucified, Laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall, And thought of me,
Above all

“THE MORE I SEEK YOU”
Tammy: The more I seek you, the more I find you
The more I find you, the more I love you
Chorus: I wanna sit at your feet
drink from the cup in your hand.
Lay back against you and breathe, feel your heart beat
This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand.
I melt in your peace, it’s overwhelming.
All: The more I seek you, the more I find you
The more I find you, the more I love you
(Repeat Chorus 2x followed by instrumental break)
Tammy: I wanna sit at your feet, drink from the cup in your hand
Lay back against you and breathe, feel your heart beat
All: This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand.
I melt in your peace, it’s overwhelming.
Accapella: I wanna sit at your feet, drink from the cup in your hand
Lay back against you and breathe, feel your heart beat

Today’s Scripture
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees,
the Pharisees got together. One of them,
an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the
first and greatest commandment. And the second is like
it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the
Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
MATTHEW 22:34-40
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing
debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has
fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not
commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not
steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command
there may be, are summed up in this one command:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a
neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law..
