Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place.

GLORIA
The name of the Lord is a strong and mighty tower
Righteous run in and are safe, Heaven and earth
Are held within its power. Glory to His name!
The name of the Lord is an everlasting promise
Goodness and mercy and grace
Every nation will bow before Jesus, Glory to His name!
Chorus: And we say Gloria, Gloria, Gloria.
Yesterday today and forever. Gloria (REPEAT)
Glo – – – – – in excelcis Deo, Glo – – – – – ria in excelcis De – – – – – o
RESURRECTING
The head that once was crowned with thorns is crowned with glory now (pause)
The Savior knelt to wash our feet, Now at His feet we bow
The One who wore our sin and shame. Now robed in majesty (short pause)
The radiance of perfect love. Now shines for all to see
Your name, Your name is victory. All praise will rise to Christ our King
Your name, Your name is victory. All praise will rise to Christ our King (pause)
The fear that held us now gives way, To Him who is our peace
His final breath upon the cross Is now alive in me
Your name, Your name is victory. All praise will rise to Christ our King (pause)
Tammy: By Your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat
The resurrected King is resurrecting me
All: In Your name I come alive to declare Your victory
The resurrected King is resurrecting me
By Your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat
The resurrected King is resurrecting me
In Your name I come alive to declare Your victory
The resurrected King is resurrecting me. (Tammy: is resurrecting me)
The tomb where soldiers watched in vain, Was borrowed for three days (pause)
His body there would not remain, Our God has robbed the grave. (Yeahhhhh)
Your name, Your name is victory. All praise will rise to Christ our King (4 times)
HOLY SPIRIT
(Praise Team leads with Acapella)
There’s nothing worth more, That could ever come close
No thing can compare, You’re our living hope, Your presence, Lord
I’ve tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves, Where my heart becomes free
And my shame is undone, Your presence, Lord
Chorus: Holy Spirit, You are welcome here,
come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord (repeat all)
Let us become more aware of Your presence
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness (repeat chorus)

Today’s Scripture
The Lord our God spoke to us
at Horeb, saying, “You have stayed
long enough at this mountain.
DEUTERONOMY 1:6
The righteous keep moving forward JOB 17:9
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs
forth, will you see it?” ISAIAH 43:19
Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow
we will go into such and such a city and spend a
year there and carry on our business and make
money. Yet you do not know [the least thing]
about what may happen tomorrow.
JAMES 4:13-14
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself
yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward
what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win
the prize for which God has called me heavenward
in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14
