Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place.

SING
Now is the time for all people from every land to come together
Now is the moment for worship, We enter in withholding nothing
He’s worthy exalted, he’s high and lifted up
Sing sing unto the Lord, Open up your hearts
Make a joyful noise, in the sanctuary
Sing sing unto the Lord, Lavish Him with love
Let the praises ring in the sanctuary – Sing!
Gotta open up your mouth and give Him praise
Open up your heart and give him praise
Lift up holy hands unashamed in the sanctuary.
Gotta open up your mouth and give Him praise
Open up your heart and give him praise
Lift up holy hands unashamed – Sing sing sing

MORE OF YOU JESUS
I’ve touched the hem of your garment
And I have felt the leading of Your hand
But today my eyes look much higher
To see the face of the great I Am. (REPEAT)
More of You, Jesus, More of Your face
More of Your glory in this place. (REPEAT)

SHOUT TO THE LORD
My Jesus, my Saviour, Lord there is none like You,
All of my days I want to praise, the wonders of Your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter, tower of refuge and strength,
Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You.
CHORUS: Shout to the Lord, All the earth let us sing
Power and majesty, Praise to the King.
Mountains bow down And the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands.
Forever I’ll love You, Forever I’ll stand.
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the
Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go to
the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied
there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.
If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them,
and he will send them right away.” This took place to fulfill what
was spoken through the prophet: “Say to Daughter Zion,
‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and
on a colt, the foal of a donkey’.” MATTHEW 21:1-5
Now when the time was approaching for Him to be taken up
[to heaven], He was determined to go to Jerusalem [to fulfill His
purpose]. He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went
into a Samaritan village to make arrangements for Him; but the
people would not welcome Him, because He was traveling toward
Jerusalem. When His disciples James and John saw this, they said,
“Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from
heaven and destroy them?” But He turned and rebuked them [and
He said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are; for the Son
of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”]
And they journeyed on to another village. LUKE 9:51-56
