Sunday Celebration 07/16/2023
WELCOME & INVOCATION
Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!
Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..
SING AND CELEBRATE:
1. BREATHE ON US
There is a shaking, Let hearts awaken, Our God is moving, Forever changing us
There is a trembling, There is revival, The sound of worship,
So great and glorious, Holy Spirit hear us now

Like a rushing wind Send Your spirit here, Breath of Heaven breathe on us
Breath of Heaven breathe on us (repeat from beginning)

2.ONCE AND FOR ALL
I lay it all, at Your feet
From the corners of my deepest shame, The empty places where I’ve worn
Your name. Show me the love I say I believe
Oh Help me to lay it down, Oh Lord I lay it down
Oh let this be where I die, My lord with thee crucified
Be lifted high as my Kingdom’s fall, Once and for all, once and for all
There is victory in my Saviors loss,
And In the crimson flowing from the cross, Pour over me, pour over me yes
Oh let this be where I die, My lord with thee crucified
Be lifted high as my Kingdom’s fall, Once and for all, once and for all
Oh Lord I lay it down, Oh Lord I lay it down
Help me to lay it down, Oh Lord I lay it down
Oh let this be where I die, My Lord with thee crucified
Be lifted high as my Kingdom’s fall,
Once and for all, Once and for all, Once and for all, Once and for all
ACAPELLA Oh let this be where I die, My Lord with thee crucified
Be lifted high as my Kingdom’s fall, Once and for all, Once and for all

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him! That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens. ROMANS 8:5-21
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
