Sunday Celebration  05/18/2025

WELCOME & INVOCATION

Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

SING AND CELEBRATE:

1. YOUR LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL

You surrounded me with your songs of praise
You have brought me to this place
Where your love and grace, move within my life
Now Your message is my light
Chorus: Your love is beautiful, Your love is beautiful
It’s the reason why I sing
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin (BREAK)
I am planted here by the waters and I am living for the King
I have found my place in the house of God, This is where I’m meant to be
Chorus 2:
Your love is beautiful, Your love is beautiful
It’s the reason why I sing
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
(Long break then repeat Chorus 2)

2. THE GOD OF ALL MY DAYS

I came to You with my heart in pieces, And found you God with healing in your hands
I turned to You, put everything behind me, And found the God who makes all things new
I looked to You, drowning in my questions, And found the God who holds all wisdom
And I trusted You and stepped out on the ocean, You caught my hand among the waves
Chorus: ‘Cause You’re the God of all my days, Each step I take You make a way.
And I will give You all my praise. My seasons change, You stay the same.
You’re the God of all my days (Pause)
I ran from You, and wandered in the shadows, And found a God who relentlessly pursues
I hid from You, haunted by my failure, And found the God whose grace still covers me
I fell on You when I was at my weakest, And found the God, the lifter of my head
And I’ve worshiped You. And felt You right beside me You’re the reason that I sing(chorus)
In my worry, God You are my stillness, In my searching, God You are my answers
In my blindness, God You are my vision, In my bondage, God You are my freedom
In my weakness, God You are my power, You’re the reason that I sing (chorus)
In my blindness, God You are my vision. In my bondage,
God You are my freedom… All my days

3. BROKEN VESSELS (AMAZING GRACE)

Verse: All these pieces, broken and scattered, In mercy gathered, mended and whole
Empty handed, But not forsaken. I’ve been set free, I’ve been set free
Chorus: Amazing grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a one like me, I once was lost
But now I’m found, Was blind but now I see
Oh I can see you now, Oh I can see the love in Your eyes
Laying yourself down, Raising up the broken to life (pause)
Verse: You take our failure. you take our weakness,
You set your treasure, in jars of clay
So take this heart, Lord, I’ll be your vessel, the world to see, your life in me
(Repeat Chorus (3x) Acapella on last)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me?” saith the Lord. “I am full of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs or of he goats. When you come to appear before Me, who hath required this from your hand, to tread My courts? Isaiah 1:11-17

For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings. HOSEA 6:6

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to God’s self through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Gods self in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And God has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making God’s appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days God has spoken to us by God’s Son, whom God appointed heir of all things, and through whom also God made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of God’s being, sustaining all things by God’s powerful word. HEBREWS 1:1-3
