Sunday Celebration 08/10/2025
WELCOME & INVOCATION
Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!
Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

Lift up holy hands unashamed in the sanctuary.

2. ABOVE ALL
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man, You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones, Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth, There’s no way to measure what
you’re worth
Crucified, laid behind a stone, You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground, You took the fall, and thought of me, above all
3. GOD IS HERE
There is a stillness in the atmosphere
Come and lay down the burdens you have carried
For in this sanctuary God is here (repeat 2x) Chorus God is here, God is here
To break the yoke and lift the heavy burden
God is here, God is here
To heal the hopeless heart and bless the broken
Come and lay down the burdens you have carried
For in this sanctuary God is here (repeat chorus)
Acappella Come and lay down the burdens you have carried
For in this sanctuary God is here
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature GENISIS 1:26
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. ISAIAH 61:1
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they maY see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. MATTHEW 5:14-16
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, the kingdom cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here, or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20, 21:
Wake up from your sleep. Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you the light. EPHESIANS 5:14.
