Sunday Celebration – 03/15/2026

30th Anniversary Year

WELCOME & INVOCATION

Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

SING AND CELEBRATE:

1.ALIVE FOREVER AMEN

Verse 1: Let the children sing a song of liberation
The God of our salvation, set us free
Death where is thy sting; The curse of sin is broken
The empty tomb stands open; Come and see
Chorus 1: He’s alive, alive, alive, Hallelujah alive
Praise and glory to the Lamb
Alive, alive, alive, hallelujah, Alive forever amen
Verse 2: Let my heart sing out for Christ the One and only
So powerful and holy, rescued me
Death won’t hurt me now, because He has redeemed me
No grave will ever keep me from my King
CHORUS 2: I’m alive, alive, alive, Hallelujah alive!
Praise and glory to the Lamb
Alive, alive, alive, hallelujah, Alive forever amen
(BRIDGE): Worthy is the Lamb, Worthy of our praise
Worthy is the One who has overcome the grave
Let the people dance, Let the people sing
Worthy is the mighty King REPEAT 3 TIMES

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; God’s the one who will keep you on track. ROVERBS 3:5-6

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. Romans 8:26-28

It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally- not a bad idea since God’s the God who raises the dead!” 1 CORINTHIANS 1:8-9

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed; always bearing about in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-18

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. JAMES 1:1-2
