Sunday Celebration – 08/23/2026

30th Anniversary Year

WELCOME & INVOCATION

Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

SING AND CELEBRATE:

YOUR LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL

You surrounded me with your songs of praise
You have brought me to this place
Where your love and grace, move within my life
Now Your message is my light
Chorus: Your love is beautiful, Your love is beautiful
It’s the reason why I sing
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin (BREAK)
I am planted here by the waters and I am living for the King
I have found my place in the house of God, This is where I’m meant to be
Chorus 2:
Your love is beautiful, Your love is beautiful
It’s the reason why I sing
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
All around the world, let the praise begin
(Long break then

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS

Verse 1: At the foot of the cross, Where grace and suffering meet
You have shown me Your love, Through the judgment You received
And You’ve won my heart, And You’ve won my heart (Now I can)
Chorus: Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down, At the foot of the cross
Verse 2: At the foot of the cross, Where I am made complete
You have given me life, Through the debt you bore for me
And You’ve won my heart, And You’ve won my heart (Now I can)
(Repeat Chorus twice, then instrumental)
Bridge: And You’ve won my heart,
And You’ve won my heart Now I can
(Repeat Chorus twice)
I lay every burden down, I lay every burden down
I lay every burden down, At the foot of the cross
I’m laying every burden down, I’m laying every burden down

DO IT AGAIN

Randy: Walking around these walls
I thought by now they’d fall. But You have never failed me yet
Tammy: Waiting for change to come
Knowing the battle’s won. For You have never failed me yet
Chorus: Your promise still stands, Great is Your faithfulness, your faithfulness
I’m still in Your hands, This is my confidence, You’ve never failed me yet
(Randy) Never failed me yet
Verse: I know the night won’t last, Your Word will come to pass
My heart will sing Your praise again, God, You are still enough
Keeping me in Your love, My heart will sing Your praise again (Chorus 2x)
Bridge I’ve seen You move, You move the mountains
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, I’ve seen You move, You move the mountains
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, I’ve seen You move, You move the mountains
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again, I’ll see You do it again OH (pause) (Chorus 2x)
Outro: Oh, You’ve never failed me yet, And I never will forget
You’ve never failed me yet, And I never will forget

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. MATTHEW 7:12

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” JOHN 13:34-35

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.  For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.  Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.  And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.  If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.  If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”  On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,  and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,  while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.  If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.                            1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-27
