Sunday Celebration 10/11/2026
30th Anniversary Year
We Will Celebrate Holy Communion During the service.
WELCOME & INVOCATION
Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!
Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

2. ABOVE ALL
Above all power, above all kings, Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man, You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones, Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth, There’s no way to measure what
you’re worth
Crucified, laid behind a stone, You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground, You took the fall, and thought of me, above all
3. BECAUSE OF WHO YOU ARE
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.
I can’t believe your fickleness—how easily you have turned traitor to him who called you by the grace of Christ by embracing a variant message! It is not a minor variation, you know; it is completely other, an alien message, a no-message, a lie about God. Those who are provoking this agitation among you are turning the Message of Christ on its head. GALATIANS 1:6-7
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 8:35-39
TODAY’S SERMON:”THE GOOD NEWS ON WHICH I STAND?”
