Sunday Celebration 11/30/2025 – 1st Sunday of Advent – Hope

WELCOME & INVOCATION

Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

2. ABOVE ALL

Above all power, above all kings, Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man, You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones, Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth, There’s no way to measure what
you’re worth
Crucified, laid behind a stone, You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground, You took the fall, and thought of me, above all

3. EVERYTHING

Everything, Everything, Lord, You are everything to me.
Everything, Everything, Lord, You are everything to me. (Repeat)
My treasure, my priority, who can compare to You.
Great is the measure of your royalty
Oh, morning star You truly are everything

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light. They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government will be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, councellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace ISAIAH 9: 2, 6″

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. JOHN 14;27

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ROMANS 15:13

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed; always bearing about in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-18

And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4;7
