30th Anniversary Year

WELCOME & INVOCATION

Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

SING AND CELEBRATE:

FREE FOR ALL

Rivers rich in mercy beckon, Everyone who thirsts is welcome
All who hunger freely come, Bread of life for everyone
Chorus Free for all, Free for all, Over every limitation, Free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Free for all (pause)
We’re proclaiming freedom to the nations,
Stand and see your full salvation
Rivers in the desert, clouds are forming
Celebrate this free out-pouring (chorus)
Free for all, Free for all, Over every limitation, Free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Where the spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom, free for all
Holy Spirit rise within us, Bring your freedom, free for all
Holy Spirit rise within us, Bring your freedom, free for all
Free for all…. Who the Son set free, is free indeed
Who the Son set free, is free indeed
Who the Son set free, is free indeed

EVERYTHING

Everything, Everything, Lord, You are everything to me.
Everything, Everything, Lord, You are everything to me. (Repeat)
My treasure, my priority, who can compare to You.
Great is the measure of your royalty
Oh, morning star You truly are everything

I AM NOT ALONE

Verse1 When I walk through deep waters, I know that You will be with me

When I’m standing in the fire I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow, I will not fear
Chorus I am not alone. I am not alone
You will go before me, You will never leave me
I am not alone, I am not alone
You will go before me, You will never leave me
Verse2 In the midst of deep sorrow, I see Your light is breaking through
The dark of night will not overtake me, I am pressing into You
Lord, You fight my every battle, Oh, and I will not fear (Chorus)
Vamp You amaze me, Redeem me, You call me as Your own (repeat 3x)
You’re my strength, You’re my defender, You’re my refuge in the storm
Through these trials, You’ve always been faithful, You bring healing to my soul
Repeat chorus 3x

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

And that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.  pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 1and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. EPHESIANS 3:17-19

“If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more we can list what many might think are impressive credentials. You know my pedigree: a legitimate birth, circumcised on the eighth day; an Israelite from the elite tribe of Benjamin; a strict and devout adherent to God’s law; a fiery defender of the purity of my religion, even to the point of persecuting the church; a meticulous observer of everything set down in God’s law Book.” The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I’m tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God’s righteousness. PHILLIPPIANS 3:4-9

Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that’s not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.  Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in—insiders—not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. So don’t put up with anyone pressuring you in details of diet, worship services, or holy days. All those things are mere shadows cast before what was to come; the substance is Christ. Don’t tolerate people who try to run your life, ordering you to bow and scrape, insisting that you join their obsession with angels and that you seek out visions. They’re a lot of hot air, that’s all they are. They’re completely out of touch with the source of life, Christ, who puts us together in one piece, whose very breath and blood flow through us. Colossians 2:8-19
