THIRSTY
My soul is thirsty, My soul is thirsty for you
My soul is thirsty, My soul is thirsty for you
As the deer is thirsty for the water
So does my soul long for thee
My spirit… Needs… Refreshing
Father, I’m Thirsty, Thirsty For You (repeat all)
Darnell: Let me Drink from the fountain that never shall run dry
From the fountain of everlasting life
For if I drink of your water, I will never thirst again
Let me draw from your living well
My soul is thirsty, My soul is thirsty for you
My soul is thirsty, My soul is thirsty for you
As the deer is thirsty for the water
So does my soul long for thee
My spirit… Needs… Refreshing Father, I’m Thirsty,
Father, I’m Thirsty, Father, I’m Thirsty, Thirsty For You
OCEANS (WHERE FEET MAY FAIL)
You call me out upon the waters, The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery. In oceans deep, My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your Name, And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours And You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters, Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide. Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now
So I will call upon Your Name,
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours And You are mine
Ohh oh Ohh, You are mine Oh oh Oh (pause)
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters, Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper, Than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger, In the presence of my Savior(Repeat 6x)
I will call upon Your Name, Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace, I am Yours and You are mine
“SWEET SWEET SPIRIT”
There’s a sweet sweet spirit in this place
And I know that it’s the spirit of the Lord
There are sweet expressions on each face
And I know that it’s the presence of the Lord
Sweet, Holy Spirit, Sweet heavenly dove
Stay right here with us, Filling us with your love
And for these blessings,
We lift our hearts in praise (hearts in praise)
Without a doubt we’ll know, That we have been revived
When we shall leave this place
Today’s Scripture
So, my friends, this is something like what has taken
place with you. When Christ died he took that entire
rule-dominated way of life down with him and left it in the tomb,
leaving you free to “marry” a resurrection life and bear “offspring”
of faith for God. For as long as we lived that old way of life, doing
whatever we felt we could get away with, sin was calling most of the
shots as the old law code hemmed us in. And this made us all the more
rebellious. In the end, all we had to show for it was miscarriages and
stillbirths. But now that we’re no longer shackled to that domineering
mate of sin, and out from under all those oppressive regulations and fine
print, we’re free to live a new life in the freedom of God.
ROMANS 7:4-6
So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away,
our inner nature is being renewed day by day. For this slight momentary
affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all
measure, because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot
be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is
eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:16-18
Let us leave behind the elementary teaching about Christ and go
forward to adult understanding. Let us not lay over and over again the
foundation truths—repentance from the deeds which led to death,
believing in God, baptism and laying-on of hands, belief in the life to come
and the final judgment. No, if God allows, let us go on. HEBREWS 6:1-3
