Verse 2: Free at last, God has welcomed me, God’s grace runs deep
While I was asleep inside
Christ awakened me, Christ awakened me

I’m a child of God, Yes I am
Bridge 1: I am chosen, not forsaken, I am who You say I am

YOU SAY
Verse: I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know
Chorus: You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
And when I don’t belong, oh You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh I believe. What You say of me. I believe
Verse: The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, o-ooh (chorus)
Verse: Taking all I have and now I’m laying it at Your feet
You have every failure God, and You’ll have every victory, o-ooh
(Repeat Chorus)
Oh I believe. Yes I believe. What You say of me. Oh I believe
OCEANS (WHERE FEET MAY FAIL)
You call me out upon the waters,
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery.
In oceans deep, My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your Name,
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours And You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters, Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide. Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now
So I will call upon Your Name, And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours And You are mine
Ohh oh Ohh, You are mine Oh oh Oh (pause)
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters, Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper, Than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger,
In the presence of my Savior(Repeat 6x)
I will call upon Your Name, Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace,
I am Yours and You are mine
Today’s Scripture
Now when the time was approaching for Him to be taken up
[to heaven], He was determined to go to Jerusalem [to fulfill His
purpose]. He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went into
a Samaritan village to make arrangements for Him; but the people
would not welcome Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem.
When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You
want us to command fire to come down from heaven and destroy
them?” But He turned and rebuked them [and He said, “You do not
know what kind of spirit you are; for the Son of Man did not come
to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”] And they journeyed on to
another village. LUKE 9:51-56
But we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and
foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both
Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the
weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Brothers and
sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of
you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not
many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the
world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world
to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and
the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things
that are. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:23-28
