Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place.

LET IT RISE
Let the glory of the Lord, rise among us
Let the glory of the Lord, rise among us
Let the praises of the King rise among us. Let it rise
Let the songs of the Lord, rise among us
Let the songs of the Lord, rise among us
Let the joy of the King, rise among us. Let it rise
Oh – oh – oh, let it rise. Oh – oh – oh, let it rise
YOUR LOVE IS EXTRAVAGANT
Your love is extravagant. Your friendship, it is intimate.
I feel I’m moving to the rhythm of Your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating in the secret place
Cause Your love is extravagant
Chorus: Spread wide in the arms of Christ there’s a love that
covers sin, No greater love have I ever known;
You considered me a friend. Capture my heart again
Your love is extravagant. Your friendship, it is intimate.
I feel I’m moving to the rhythm of Your grace, Your fragrance is
intoxicating in the secret place. Your love is extravagant
Spread wide in the arms of Christ there’s a love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Spread wide in the arms of Christ there’s a love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again
Your love is extravagant. Your friendship, it is intimate.

GOD IS HERE
Verse 1 There is a sweet anointing in this sanctuary
There is a stillness in the atmosphere
Come and lay down the burdens you have carried
For in this sanctuary God is here (repeat 2x)
Chorus God is here, God is here
To break the yoke and lift the heavy burden God is here, God is here To heal the hopeless heart and bless the broken Come and lay down the burdens you have carried For in this sanctuary God is here (repeat chorus)
Acappella Come and lay down the burdens you have carried
For in this sanctuary God is here

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner
with Him, so He went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined
at the table. When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that
town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, she
brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and as she stood behind
Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her
tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and
poured perfume on them.
When the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to
himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who is
touching Him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a
sinner.”
Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”
“Tell me, teacher,” he said.
“Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed
him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them
had the money to pay him back, so he cancelled the debts of
both. Now which of them will love him more?”
Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt
cancelled.”
“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
Then He turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do
you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give
me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears
and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but
this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing
my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured
perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have
been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been
forgiven little loves little.”
Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this
who even forgives sins?”
Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
LUKE 7:36-50
My dear friends, don’t believe everything you hear.
Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you.
Not everyone who talks about God comes from God.
There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.
