Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

INDESCRIBABLE

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation’s revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming: Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God…  All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim:

You are amazing God

Who has told every living thing how it should grow

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to it’s light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom: Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God…   All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim:

You are amazing God…   You are amazing God…

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God,  All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God… (Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God… Incomparable, unchangeable

You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

You are amazing God…  You are amazing God) Repeat ( )

Your Presence Is Heaven

Who is like You Lord in all the earth? Matchless love and beauty, endless worth.

Nothing in this world will satisfy, Jesus You’re the cup that won’t run dry.

Your presence is Heaven to me, Your presence is Heaven to me.

Treasure of my heart and of my soul, In my weakness You are merciful

Redeemer of my past and present wrongs, Holder of my future days to come

Your presence is Heaven to me, Your presence is Heaven to me.

(We’re singing) Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, Your presence is Heaven to me

Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, Your presence is Heaven to me

All my days on earth I will await, The moment that I see You face to face

Nothing in this world will satisfy, ‘Cause Jesus You’re the cup that won’t run dry

Jesus You’re the cup that won’t run dry, (You’ll never run dry)

Your presence is Heaven to me, Your presence is Heaven to me

Your presence is Heaven to me, Your presence is Heaven to me

(We’re singing) Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, Your presence is Heaven to me

Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, Your presence is Heaven to me

BREATHE

This is the air I breathe. This is the air I breathe.

Your holy presence living in me.

This is my daily bread.  This is my daily bread.

Your very word spoken to me.

And I… I’m desperate for you.

And I… I’m lost without you.

This is the air I breathe. This is the air I breathe

Your holy presence living in me.

This is my daily bread. This is my daily bread.

Your very word spoken to me.

And I… I’m desperate for you.  And I… I’m lost without you.

And I… I’m desperate for you.  And I… I’m lost without you.

I’m lost without you.  I’m lost without you.

I’m desperate for you.  I’m desperate for you..

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light.

They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death,

upon them has the light shined.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

and the government will be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called, Wonderful, councellor,

The mighty God, The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace ISAIAH 9: 2, 6

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. [6] While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. Luke 2:4-7

She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” and the angel answered and said to her,

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:26-35
