Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!
Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..
I AM A FRIEND OF GOD

AT THE CROSS
Oh Lord You’ve searched me, You know my way
Even when I fail You, I know You love me…
Your holy presence, Surrounding me, In every season
I know You love me. I know You love me…
CHORUS: At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There’s no greater love than this.
You have overcome the grave,
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now…
You go before me, You shield my way.
Your hand upholds me, I know You love me…
Verse: You tore the veil. You made a way.
When You said that it is done (repeat verse)
And when the earth fades, Falls from my eyes,
And You stand before me. I know You love me.
I know You love me…(repeat from chorus)
GOD SO LOVED
God so loved the world
That He gave
God so loved the world
That he gave…. his only son
(repeat)
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
He’s risen from the dead
He is risen
He’s high and lifted up
Heaven and earth adore
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
The splendor of the King, Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice, All the earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light, And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at his voice, And trembles at his voice.
CHORUS: How great is our God, SING with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, How great is our God
Age to age He stands, And time is in His Hands
Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End
The Godhead, Three in one, Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb, The Lion and the Lamb
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women
took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found
the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they
did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering
about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning
stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their
faces to the ground, but the men said to them. “Why do you look for
the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember
how he told you , while he was still with you in Galilee, ‘The Son of
Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and
on the third day be raised again.’” Then they remembered his words.”
LUKE 24:1-8
It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive -and-present God who
raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same
thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When
God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in
Jesus) you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in
you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! The resurrection life you
received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously
expectant, greeting God with a childlike, “What’s next Papa?” God’s
Spirit touches our spirit and confirms who we really are.
We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children.”
ROMANS 8:11,15-16 (MESSAGE BIBLE)
