Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

YOU ARE GOOD
Lord, You are good and Your mercy endureth forever.
Lord, You are good and Your mercy endureth forever.
People from every nation and tongue,
From generation to generation
We worship You! Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
We worship You for who You are
We worship You! Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
We worship You for who You are. You are good!
You are good all the time, all the time You are good

BREATHE
This is the air I breathe. This is the air I breathe.
Your holy presence living in me.
This is my daily bread. This is my daily bread.
Your very word spoken to me.
And I… I’m desperate for you.
And I… I’m lost without you.
This is the air I breathe. This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me.
This is my daily bread. This is my daily bread.
Your very word spoken to me.
And I… I’m desperate for you. And I… I’m lost without you.
And I… I’m desperate for you. And I… I’m lost without you.
I’m lost without you. I’m lost without you.
I’m desperate for you. I’m desperate for you..

SHOUT TO THE LORD
My Jesus, my Saviour, Lord there is none like You,
All of my days I want to praise, the wonders of Your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter, tower of refuge and strength,
Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You.
CHORUS: Shout to the Lord, All the earth let us sing
Power and majesty, Praise to the King.
Mountains bow down And the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name. I sing for joy at the work of Your hands.
Forever I’ll love You, Forever I’ll stand.
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
Fear not , for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass
through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the
fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not see you ablaze. ISAIAH 43:1-2
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or
drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food,
and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do
not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father
feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of
you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry
about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor
or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was
dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the
field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he
not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows
that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry
about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has
enough trouble of its own.” MATTHEW 6:25-34
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but
not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-9
