Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

EVERLASTING GOD
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord (repeat)
Our God, You reign forever, Our hope, our strong deliverer
You are the everlasting God, The everlasting God
You do not faint, You won’t grow weary
You’re the defender of the weak, You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles (repeat all)
(instrumental break)
You are the everlasting God, The everlasting God,
The everlasting God, The everlasting
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord (REPEAT)
ABOVE ALL
Above all power, above all kings Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdom, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There’s no way to measure what you’re worth
Crucified, Laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall, And thought of me, Above all
GOD SO LOVED
God so loved the world, That He gave
God so loved the world, That he gave….
his only son (repeat)
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
He’s risen from the dead… He is risen
He’s high and lifted up
Heaven and earth adore

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. PSALMS 119:105
“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new
covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It
will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took
them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my
covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. This
is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,”
declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it
on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No
longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the
LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the
greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and
will remember their sins no more.” JEREMIAH 31:31-34
Jesus said, “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t handle them
now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take
you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is.” JOHN 12-13
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you
Gentiles— Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s
grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to
me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then,
you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
which was not made known to people in other generations as it has
now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets
