Our Affirmation of Faith

We believe in God the creator of us all, whose desire for
diversity is seen in the rainbow of humanity. With unrelenting
passion God Seeks to be in relationship with all of us.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who is the embodiment of
God’s redeeming grace; And in the Holy Spirit through whom
that grace continues its restoring work.
We believe in the Church. It is the body of Christ on the earth
today. As ministers of this church, we are all called like Jesus,
to heal, to deliver, to teach, and to serve.
We believe that together we can change the world,
in our time and for all time Amen!

Affirmation Chorus: In This Place
In this place, There’s joy that I can’t explain
In this place, There’s healing for all my pain
There is love unlike I’ve ever known
Everybody here makes me feel at home
As we gather here, I know I’m not alone
I feel God’s presence, Moving in this place..

CORNERSTONE
My hope is built on nothing less… Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus name
Christ Alone, Cornerstone, Weak made strong In the Savior’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of all
When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
Christ Alone, Cornerstone, Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love, Through the storm
He is Lord, Lord of all, He is Lord, Lord of all
Christ Alone, Cornerstone, Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love, through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of all
10,000 REASONS

And Your heart is kind. For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reason for my heart to find (pause, repeat chorus)
Verse 3 And on that day, When my strength is failing.
The end draws near, And my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your love unending/
Ten thousand years and then forevermore. Forevermore

Yes I will cherish Your lovely name. Jesus I’ll cherish Your lovely name
Sing like never before, Oh my soul, I’ll cherish Your lovely name
Jesus I’ll cherish Your lovely name
I AM NOT ALONE
Verse1 When I walk through deep waters, I know that You will be with me
When I’m standing in the fire I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow, I will not fear
Chorus I am not alone. I am not alone
You will go before me, You will never leave me
I am not alone, I am not alone
You will go before me, You will never leave me
Verse2 In the midst of deep sorrow, I see Your light is breaking through
The dark of night will not overtake me, I am pressing into You
Lord, You fight my every battle, Oh, and I will not fear (Chorus)
VampYou amaze me, Redeem me, You call me as Your own (repeat 3x)
You’re my strength, You’re my defender, You’re my refuge in the storm
Through these trials, You’ve always been faithful, You bring healing to my soul
Repeat chorus 3x

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard
that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and
went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes
in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!”….
Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and
dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many
seeds…Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save
me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this
hour. Father, glorify your name!” JOHN 12:12-13; 23-24; 27-30
